Job Title - Library Technician CT

Employment Type – Permanent Full Time with access to fortnightly RDO, 70 hours a fortnight
Location – Culture & Library Services- Brunswick Library
Qualification-either Diploma of Library and Information Services, a Diploma of Youth Work, or a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Salary- $64,323.52 to $68,366.21 per annum
Skills Required –
- Experience and expertise in children’s services and digital literacy
- Great communication, customer service, time management, and team work skills
Duties-·
- Perform customer service duties
- Organise, promote and deliver activities for young people and their families.
- Community engagement and outreach to promote library services and literacy program offerings for children and youth.
- Organise activities for children, young people and parents to assist with bridging the digital divide.
- Provide relief in these areas at other service points as required.
- Report on routine program outcomes.
- Assist with the organisation and maintenance of the children’s and youth collections.
- Assist with extension activities to adults.
